After spending years building a successful corporate career, I found myself in a role that looked impressive on paper but left me feeling broken. The stress, the isolation, and the toxic environment led to a mental breakdown — and forced me to completely rethink what success really meant.
What started as a personal escape into the world of secondhand luxury quickly turned into a passion: curating beautiful, timeless pieces with stories to tell. I launched Silk and Status to make luxury more accessible, more sustainable, and more personal — helping people like you discover style that feels like you, not like everyone else.
